A total of 235 new wind turbines with a combined capacity of 1,414 megawatts were built in Finland during 2024, making it the second busiest year in our wind power history. Our total wind power capacity grew by an impressive 20% during the year. By the end of 2024, Finland had a total of 1,835 wind turbines and 8,358 megawatts of wind power capacity.
